expecting me to fall

like a Jenga tower

pulled from the wrong

piece.

The sound of applause

as I topple down

from my metal made

mental structure

impenetrable to all

except you on your

swift fleet to conquer me.

I am a roulette wheel

spun round and round

while you browse

a market of hot flesh

and a tepid impulse

held neatly on

the trigger.
