The darkness and light combine to brighten the sky

releases me into night as

my lover sun embraces me

lovingly behind and causes

gleam to spread across

as I sit in the sky

brilliant white.

My pull drags oceans

tides into my sweet hold

receding water retreats

with the waxing and waning

birds use me as their

personal guiding system.

Celebrated for my beauty

even though I have jagged

craters created protecting

my other lover the planet

of deep blues and green

spreading across its

circular surface.

My two loves one

millions of miles away

interstellar pining

as one warms my sides

and the other I allow

asteroids to hit my

anti-gravity air to

shelter you.
