Palpable Poetic Persuasion
A Poem
--
Pain eased with his
tender fingers tending
to the delicate paper lining
of my pleasure, I open
seashell with oyster
held in center
taste the briny ocean
enjoy the tidal wave
of breath lapping
at the shore of
ecstasy, I taste you
and feel cashmere
on my tongue. Sanctified
flesh, holy communion
molasses thick
until we both
stick to the roof
of each other’s mouths.
