She Smells Like Honeysuckle and Jasmine

A Poem

She smells like honeysuckle
and jasmine tainted with
the humidity of smog
of a fast paced city life
the roads pulsing with activity
like veins bringing blood
to its center heart
and at times she wondered
if she was the center
of the city bred
to amplify the pretty
in her process not to be petty
but to pride herself
in the suckle breeze
of her honey heart.

I'm unapologetically me with a hard edged view of life. I love to travel and have crazy amounts of fun spaced between quiet moments.
