A Poem
When I wake, you still haunt me
an erotic possession that possesses
me from head to toe and toes curl
in pleasure at the sound
of your voice
and vibration of your body
your heartbeat
is an orchestra
this body be a symphony
let us sing together.
I say your name
as the most sacred god
never ask me to be tamed
pull out wild from between
teeth that I held in gums
a scream that hums through me
persuade me to find pleasure
in the idiosyncratic things
you do like how
your tongue knows
my mouth better
than my own teeth.
Pray before the
altar of this body
we are communion
we are a temple
we are the combining
of atoms that are
similar but far enough
apart to taste
the difference
in your throat
as I burn like
a bonfire down
your campfire throat
use embers
to make fire from nothing.
